We help our neighbors today, so the next generation can do more tomorrow.
ALMA was built by children of immigrants for the community that raised us. It comes from a simple belief: neighbors should be able to support one another with dignity, honesty, and care.
ALMA is small and new. We have no office, no salaries, and no paid staff. We are a group of people in Delaware building a practical way to respond when someone in our community needs support.
Our work begins with direct fundraising for needs we can verify. We share each person's story only with their permission, and we keep supporters informed about where their help is going.
We do not hold campaign funds. Support goes directly to the person or through a fundraiser created for them.
Mentorship is also part of our mission. Over time, we hope to connect young people and families with guidance, learning opportunities, and people who can help them move forward. This work is still developing, and we will share more as it takes shape.
